# KYB/KYC

## **API Steps for calling KYB/KYC**

Once the Business has been added, you can make calls to the **KYB** and **KYC** endpoints to retrieve verification and validation about this business and its customers.

Using the ***business ID***, you will be able to make the **GET KYB** call and **GET KYC** calls.

## KYB

Retrieves comprehensive *Know Your Business* verification details for a given business identifier, including legal, formation, ownership, address, and match data from multiple sources.

Prior to utilizing this service, you must first obtain a business ID by creating a business via the [Add business](/api-reference/add-or-update-business/add-business) service.

**Once the business has been added**, you can make the **GET KYB** call to get verification and validation about this business.

## KYC

Know your Customer returns a list of individuals with ownership or control, including their submitted personal details and verification results.

Prior to utilizing this service, you must first obtain a business ID by creating a business via the [Add business](/api-reference/add-or-update-business/add-business) service.

**Once the business has been added**, you can make the **GET KYC** call to get verification and authorization about ownership.
