# Overview

> To reduce manual data entry and speed up onboarding, clients can use our **KYB** (Know Your Business) and **KYC** (Know Your Customer) endpoints to pre-fill relevant business and ownership details directly into their form or platform. This helps streamline the review process, improves accuracy, and enhances the user experience.

## How It Works

To effectively pre-fill data for Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, it's essential to gather specific information during the *onboarding phase*. While not all fields are mandatory, providing comprehensive data enhances the accuracy and efficiency of verification.

1. The client’s front-end form captures initial business information — typically the business name and a unique external ID.
2. That data is sent to the [Add Business](https://docs.worthai.com/api-reference/add-or-update-business/add-business) endpoint to register the entity in our system.
3. Once registered, the client can call the [GET KYB](https://docs.worthai.com/api-reference/integration/facts/kyb) and [GET KYC](https://docs.worthai.com/api-reference/integration/verification/kyc-ownership-verification) endpoints to retrieve verified information for pre-filling:
   * Business data such as legal name, formation state, EIN (TIN), address, formation date, and ownership structure.
   * To verify individuals associated with a business and return enriched identity data (e.g., name match, DOB, SSN match, address match), you must collect and submit key personal details. These fields trigger the KYC verification process and support pre-filling identity details on the client side.
